Movember Madness

Here at Hewett Recruitment some of our male members of the team are taking part in Movember. This is an annual charity challenge involving men growing their moustache throughout the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues.
Movember started off with a focus on prostate and testicular cancer, but through the years the charity has noticed another issue which needed desperate attention … men’s mental health.
Movember is all about raising awareness and understanding of men’s health, encouraging men to talk about it and women to talk about it with them. The Movember Foundation would like to achieve a substantial improvement in issues such as – prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health. They want men and boys to talk and take action and to remain healthy.

Team Hewett are taking part and if you would like to help them support the Movember charities you can donate here

Hear their reasons for taking part in Movember and what it means to them.

“There is a growing awareness of the issues around prostate cancer and how many men it effects. Movember is a really easy way to have some fun with your mates whilst generating well needed cash to help fund research to stop prostate cancer."

“Prostate Cancer has affected 2 of my close family but thankfully, due to early diagnosis, a full recovery was made. I’m growing my Mo to support the fantastic work being done to combat Prostate Cancer, as well as having some fun along the way trying to ‘out Mo’ the rest of our team!”
