mfg Joins Good Recruitment Campaign

One of the oldest solicitors in the country, mfg is the first law firm to sign up to the Good Recruitment Campaign in Worcestershire.  Maynard Burton, Chairman of mfg signed the Recruitment & Employment Confederation's Good Recruitment Campaign last week to confirm their commitment to good recruitment practice.  He explained – “We understand the importance of recruiting the right way for both ourselves and our clients. mfg is a growing business, this charter makes perfect sense and we are happy to align our firm with this excellent national initiative from the REC.

Louise Hewett, Director of the REC and Managing Director of Hewett Recruitment added, “mfg are leading the way in Worcestershire, by being the first law firm to sign up to the Good Recruitment Campaign." The GRC was created by businesses for businesses and exists to promote the critical importance that good recruitment practice plays in organisations to reinvigorate their recruitment strategies, promote a better candidate experience and work more effectively with their recruitment partners.  Local businesses can sign up free of charge and will gain access to the Good Recruitment Hub, together with self-assessment tools to enable them to benchmark and refine their companies recruitment processes. Steve Othen from the REC will be speaking about the GRC at the HR Conference on 2nd July 2015.  To book your place contact the Chamber Events Team on: 0845 641 1641 or download a booking form:
