Hewett Recruitment have secured Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the REC as key note speaker at the next Human Resources Professionals Conference on 4th June 2014 run in association with the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

Kevin spoke at the inaugural conference last year and his speech captivated his audience of senior HR managers from across the region as he explained the changing dynamics and key challenges facing HR professionals and business owners. Kevin is a regular commentator on the UK labour market on national TV and radio and his background includes his time as HR Director of Royal Mail. Whilst holding that position he was responsible for all people related issues for a business with 165,000 employees and helped to transform an organisation losing £1million a day in 2003 to making more than £600m profit in 2007.

Speakers include Bernie Bird, Group Head of HR at Sanctuary Housing will be taking a look at ‘the holistic approach to recruiting and retaining the best’. Two highly regarded legal eagles include, Sally Morris Head of Employment at MFG who asks ‘how geared up are we for growth and flexibility?’ and Paul Chamberlain from Brabners who is a nationally recognised expert on agency workers regulations and status of temporary workers.
