Hewetts are geared up for Charity

Worcestershire businesses will come together on Wednesday 17th September to see who has the ability and stamina to reach pole position. Hayward Wright have organised a Karting Day in aid of Sight Concern Worcestershire, and has received a fantastic response to this event and there will be 17 teams racing on the day. Hills Ford of Kidderminster and Malvern have kindly agreed to sponsor this event.
Hewett Recruitment are entering a team into this year’s race and the team are already very excited. The Hewett team will consist of Recruitment Consultants Anthony, Tom and Harry and Social Media Assistant Emily all determined to put up a fight for pole position! With Anthony being the team leader and expert Karter the rest of the team are out to follow the lead.

The event will be held at Grand Prix Karting, Birmingham Wheels outdoor track. Similar to the previous year, a silent auction will be held for grid positions, last year pole position went for £57.25! There will also be an opportunity to purchase black flag stops at £20 each to enhance the teams position on track, however there is a limit of three per team.

Sight Concern Worcestershire is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with sight loss across Worcestershire. The charity have been successfully supporting people with sight loss for over 130 years by helping them adapt to their issues, keep active and live independent lives in their community.
