Hewett's Managing Director signs up to 'Worcester Stands Tall'

Louise is pictured here with Katie Chambers, Junior Sister at St Richard's, and Gerald the giraffe.

Since the launch of Worcester Stands Tall St Richard's Hospice have had an amazing response to their event. Many giraffes sculptures have been sponsored and over the coming weeks they will be announcing their sponsors and what inspired them to get involved.

Hewett Recruitments Managing Director, Louise Hewett, is patron of St Richard's Hospice and was first to sign up to this unusual project. Louise attended the launch and immediately committed to the project. St Richard's Hospice are absolutely delighted to have her on board!

Louise said: “I feel it is a fitting tribute to my mum and dad who passed away year before last.
“They lived in Africa for many years and would have appreciated seeing these majestic creatures standing tall for a good cause in the city of Worcester.
“I’m thrilled to be able to support St. Richard’s Hospice on behalf of my parents and raise funds in this unusual way.”

At least 25 majestic giraffe sculptures will stand proud in the city during summer 2018 as part of our stunning art trail. Each giraffe will be covered in beautiful artwork and will be on display for 10 weeks. Then, the sculptures will be auctioned off to raise funds for the hospice.

Watch this space for more exciting announcements in the weeks to come.
