Employment outlook is at its strongest level since 2008

HR Magazine has reported on the quarterly employment survey by Manpower said: "with an outlook of +3% employers across the UK are looking to take on staff in the final months of 2012, despite the gloomy macro-economic picture." The survey of 2,100 UK employers found that the job market is in positive territory. "What we are seeing is a double dip jobs blip - the good news is that the UK jobs market is set for a further boost for the remainder of 2012, making it an extraordinary year for jobs and the strongest hiring environment of the year,” Says James Hick UK MD ManpowerGroup Solutions.

The report shows that for the first time in 4 years UK employers are hiring. Also for the first time since 2008 micro sized businesses (1-9 employees) are also taking on new staff. Lander Associates reports "we are seeing this strengthening in the job market in bookings for our Recruitment 101 Induction course, which had so much interest this month that we've added an extra date in November which is already half full. We use this course as our 'litmus test' to how the industry is fairing as it indicates recruitment companies are hiring and investing for the future. We can see this positive outlook reflected in the interest in this course."

So if you have hired or plan on hiring this Autumn to take advantage of the positive shift in the job market and to ensure your new talent get the best possible start, get in touch with Lander Associates now to reserve your places or even to hold places for intended hires.
