Join mfg Solicitors who are hosting an Emplyment Law seminar on Wednesday 6th July 2016 at the offices of H&W Chamber of Commerce, Prescott Drive in Worcester between 10am and 3pm.
This is an interactive workshop on employment law for employers, managers and HR professionals, and because of the importance of employment legislation and the cost of getting it wrong, the workshop is suited to all employers no matter the size of workforce.

The workshop will cover recent developments in employment law and future changes and will provide not only the update position regarding employer’s obligations, but also practical guidance on how to prepare for the forthcoming changes

Objectives

•    Looking back at 2015 – to include key cases relating to travelling to and from work, developments relating to holiday pay and the “Ramphal” case and the impact on HR professionals.

•    Developments in 2016 – to include Employment Tribunal fees, the One Hour Contract, National Living Wage, the impact after the EU Referendum and Employment Tribunal awards.

•    Modern Slavery – to include an analysis of the new legislation and how this will affect all those who conduct business to business and not just larger companies.

•    Malingering – How you tackle this more robustly.

•    Gender Pay Reporting – An analysis of the legislation, what your obligations will be and how you may mitigate its affects.

•    Recent Important and Interesting Cases – a round up of some of the key cases in the first 6 months of 2016 that will impact on you.  This will cover various employment and HR topics.
