Creating the engineering leaders of tomorrow

The future of manufacturing in the UK lies in the training of young people and giving them the opportunity to flourish.  Hewett Recruitment recognise the need for businesses to ‘grow their own’ talent through apprenticeships, particularly in areas such as engineering and IT where the skills shortage is so acute.
Hewett’s are working in association with the ‘Rotec Engineering Academy’ in Evesham who are a not for profit provider set up to be different.  This academy has been created not only to teach the academic skills of engineering, but to do so much more by creating ‘work ready’ apprentices and engineers.

The Rotec Academy in association with Hewett Recruitment are introducing their partnership scheme designed to get young people out into industry whilst they are still training.
These companies who sign up to the scheme will benefit from 50% off vocational training courses including FLT, First-Aid, CAD, Lean Tools Kits and internal auditing etc all provided by the academy.
The young people involved will gain valuable awareness of how companies work whilst training which will enable them to develop their knowledge of career paths available and the variety of industry sectors engineers work within.  Students will also have the benefit of developing relationships with a potential future employers and gain a real understanding of the application and relevance of what they are learning in the industry.
